    It was also stealth technology, being made of wood and almost invisible to radar. Northrop had flying wing designs around the same time as the Germans, and they didn't work out so well.

    A variety of things. I'm an architect by profession. I fly, and have a Piper Cub project in the garage (the 1940s vintage classic design, but a modern interpretation). The English language. World War II. Nicaragua.

    I have an A-2 reproduction by San Diego Leather, with side entry pockets. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

    In my neck of the woods, if anyone wears a hat it's a baseball cap or cowboy hat. I'm one of the very few who wear a brimmed hat. My six year old daughter seems to be the only one who appreciates my brown crushable wool hat; everyone else thinks I'm trying to be Indiana Jones when they see it...
