here are the 2 pages for comparison

And to think that I got called out here because I said A2's looks "dad-ish".

So what is the FL consensus on the matter? (I am a young man who just bought his first A2 jacket, and I am...
No need to apologize. I posted the question here originally: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?67887-Horween-USA-and-Aero-Leather-Joint-Statement&p=1549418&viewfull=1#post1549418
I bought a Lost Worlds A2 3oz horsehide jacket on sale. I weighed it with my electronic kitchen scale and it comes to 3.0 pounds. Is that normal? I ask because I tried on a goatskin A2 by Alpha in store and I am certain it weighs a little bit more. I also have some calfskin leather jackets that...
If it is OK for me to ask, I wonder how does it feel to be burned by Will for all these years? I am interested in starting my own business someday in the future and these types of issues interest me.
See the ends of the hanger, they don't reach far enough out to the shoulder, make sure when the hanger is removed there are no shoulder bumps in the leather.
If that hanger is average sized (17" shoulders) then that jacket must be huge, unless you are a very large man then make sure the jacket...
So I did a search and there are a couple of threads on wide hangers already, however most of them don't apply to Canadians. Are there any stores/online stores where I can buy 2"-3"+ wide hangers for a reasonable price and would be available in Canada? I prefer wood if possible.
I checked...
Great to know! I was wondering what # needle do you use? I have a industrial Juki sewing machine and was wondering if getting a #18/110 needle would be too big? or too small? What size would you suggest?
Is a triangle leather point needle really needed? or would a normal needle work as well?
I bought a Lost Worlds A2 3oz horsehide leather jacket on sale. There is wrinkling on the right side of the jacket, I think the leather is a bit thinner there. I am afraid after some time it will rip (especially at the stress point at the top left corner of the pocket) and I won't be able to say...
A bit off topic, just curious what would be the step process for replacing a zipper? Do you do it by hand and sew back the thread into each hole in the leather or is there somehow a machine that can do it?
The more I read the more I feel Aero should have kept quiet on this steerhide passing for horsehide scandal. So now they are going to refund decades worth of jackets because of one man who pocketed the difference in money for all those thousands of jackets? Justice would be having Will arrested...
I recently requested a set of leather samples from Aero, does that mean the horse leather I received are not accurate? Should I request another set of samples in the future once everything from this problem is sorted out?
I didn't mean to be harsh.
However I will say it seemed the OP was more interested the RRL brand name and getting a so called pricing deal, and ignoring fit in the process. Also considering Size L and XL brand name clothing go on sale at the end of season always, negating his so-called deal...
Considering your posted height and weight, you are still not a size XL. Most people I know that are about your height and weight don't wear XL clothing...
It doesn't explain your lack of common sense for going with a size XL in the first place. That jacket looks like a tent on you.
