V, that is INTENSE! Hat's off to you, you went the whole way!
I'm kind of curious about the face...did you have a half-prosthetic, or is that an entire mask?
I was trying to think of a way to wear vintage for Halloween this year, and if I hadn't thought of it too late, I would've found...
heeheehee...boy, I've missed you, Holly! :p
Okay, fair is fair. When I was little, my parents called me Charlie...which is NOT my name. But my father and I had the same name, so to distinguish me - Charlie. They don't recall if it was for Charlie Brown or some cartoon character called...
Hmm. Indiana Jonesing For The Quest To Educate Ecuador? (Which conveniently spells IJQEE.)
(Sorry, I couldn't really top James Powers'...his sound pretty good to me. [huh]
Thanks for the nod, Clyde.
For anyone who has a Fry's Electronics near them (you Californians in specific), they've been carrying Dead Mean in their assortment of stocked movies - I've found it and bought it there twice now (one an Xmas present) for $7! There's only ever ONE on the...
Good to meet you, ronjohn - welcome to The Fedora Lounge!
(Trivia: I married into the Dearborn family, for which Dearborn MI is named. Seems Godfried Dearborn moves west across the 'new world' while...er...starting multiple family trees, let's say...so pretty much EVERYONE named Dearborn in...
Actually, I'm wondering if my old Spirit Of 76 (Tyco, I think) looks anything like the Freedom Train Michaelson mentioned...I'll have to look it up.
Got an HO scale repro of a D&H caboose just like the one my grandfather rode, too. That's my favorite piece. Really have to get that stuff...

Combat was a frequent rerun in a block of black&whites...
hahaha...with a magic shaving bowl for a hat, too...
Don't worry, Q - so long as you get clothes THAT FIT I don't think ANYONE would mistake you for a boy. ;)
Thanks, ZF - I kind of figured it was something like that, but don't have access to the resources. Perfect! :D
Actually, yes. Note in that first pic of Therese Bonney, although obviously staged to show off her medal, that it implied her 'working gear' consisted of an A-2, a uniform shirt, and TROUSERS! I bet she's in combat boots to go w/ that helmet, too. Hang a cam around your neck and bring your...

Okay, I owe you a drink next time I see you. :cheers1:
