So far I've only paired mine with a simple navy dress, a knotted scarf, and white socks. I have the Payless ones, too, and I can't wait to break them out again in Spring!

You'd be amazed at how well a simple black dress can work! Start with a straight-cut black dress, add some pearl strands, T-strap heels, and all that's left needed is some dark lipstick and curls. It's fairly easy to recreate 1920s fashion if the look you shoot for is simplistic.
Anyone have any help for a short-waisted girl with big hips, as far as shopping for high-waisted jeans that won't make me look frumpy? I really want a pair of Freddie's jeans, but I'm a bit too nervous so far. :(

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but good homemade gravy ommediately reminds me of my grandparents' cooking. I was just informed that my gravy is as good as theirs, which made me pretty happy. :)

I'm cheating, since it's not really vintage (gasp!), but my new eyeglasses are from WalMart (GASP!!). The frames were part of their 'vintage' line for men and ladies. They're a subtle cat-eye in tortoise shell. I'll put up pics later. :)
