By the way, all of what I said earlier about the effects... I can get a much better feel of with these longer cuts. Does not look fake or CGI to me, but still holds that "campy" flavour of...

I don't agree with my uncle's political beliefs (and neither does my mother or his sister) but we at least respect his opinions and decisions. They should learn that such a mindset goes well for other things.
What I was thinking about were the women in skirt/wide leg suits...
His best performance yet was in Winter Passing. He traded in his usual overacting, galumphing demeanour for subtle comedy as a dorky musician. I wish he'd do that sort of performance more, but I guess it isn't marketable...
The article said this would be a comedy. A missed opportunity here...
The website is a bit finicky if I revisit some pages, not fully loading them again. I found that just clicking and holding for a bit helps.

Well, it's not like I'll consciously try and hide a smile when someone's told a joke or I've seen someone in God-knows-how-long. But when the camera's on me... I'm much more restrained in my smiles. Especially when I'm taking pictures alone like lyburnum said.
And that's exactly what I point out to the opponents of the Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition, Star Trek: Remastered, or anything else that "ruins childhood memories." :)
Really though, wasn't the 1991 series great, too? Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with it. [huh]
