just received fed1v and found the brim to be wider than my other two feds!
here's spec from the hattery
Brim: 70mm x 63mm (Side), Cut edge- (my other 2 feds are this size. )
the hat i received is 78mm x 70mm.

Just ordered another Fed 1v from the Hattery. this one in moonstone.I await being stung by the British customs,and the added service charge from Royal mail!,but hey ho, owning another Fed is worth it!
over the years and at high expense in buying wrong hats, i've found i suit light colours and black looks so wrong on me. and that 2.5 inch brim looks better on me than either narrower or wider! I think we all go thru this learning curve?
if you buy a wool hat. it will shrink! buy a fur felt...
just received my bluegrass green camp draft from EA. Only took 6 days from OZ and a bonus was NO import tax!! Hurrah!

I bought my non indy Everyman in granite diamond crease when first released. I sent John my head size and the hat he sent fits like a glove.( And still does) Out of all my hats it's my favourite.

finally just received my Capricorn. the British customs stung me, raising the cost of the hat by a third. I ordered a 58 as i'm 57.5. E A must be cutting back as the usual foam sizing strips and leather key ring normally enclosed where missing.
First impressions are favorable, yes it's plastic...
