ohairas--thank you so much for the information-- I think we are going to start this week. I will check out the message boards over there on ww.com and see how it looks. I just feel like I need to have some accountability about what is going in my mouth-- I snack mindlessly when I am not even...
thanks--she has done it before with some success, but has a hard time keeping it up without the weigh ins...so I think we are gonna do the meetings. I see on their website that there are several different programs you can follow- as far as I can tell the "points" one looks best to me...seems...
shooshoo-- I completely understand! I am 15lbs out of all my vintage and all my regular clothes for that matter. I can't afford to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe, so I HAVE to lose it! I am going crazy wearing only the same pair of jeans and pants and the same shirts all the time! UGH...
I agree this sounds worth a shot. My band likes to dress up for shows sometimes and I always make the mistake of wearing super high heels on stage for 3-4 hours at a time....and then regretting it when I am almost crippled the next day...(but I looked great, right? ;) ) If this can decrease...
I was considering it too-- anyone have any idea of a ballpark cost for WW? I have never done it, and don't really know how it works except that food is assigned point values and that you go in to meeting with other members...

I am yet another former ballerina...and how depressing is it to NOT look like it anymore...I am hit and miss with the cardio-- I have tried all kinds, and unless I have a buddy to talk to I just watch the minutes tick by on the machines  I do teach 3 yoga classes, and 2 pilates classes...
I hope so too-- I isn't bad all the time, but seems very "hormonal"--especially since my son was born (he's 21/2 so this has been a long stretch) But I have hope that eventually things will settle down again. I seem to go through a vicious cycle of products. I use drying stuff and then it...
I'll have to give that a try for the blemishes...I will try almost anything once to clear my skin up... At 28, you'd think I would outgrow this by now.

I kind of like the idea of thicker formulation too...I don't think they are any magic potion or anything either, but I thought they were made for the thin sensitive eye skin. Most of the regular anti wrinkle creams say to avoid the eye/eyelid area. I know if I use anything with strong...
agreed-- LOVE your glasses. I have 8.5 feet and I always buy the smaller shoes too! The other 2 girls in my band are tiny (5.5 and 6.5) so they reap the benefits:rolleyes: Makes me feel like at 5'10'' 145lbs I would've been a hulking giant in vintage times....ah well. Some of use just...
okay, since I have been doing the ponds, I guess I should throw my routine in instead of just being a voyeur of everyone else's ;-)
AM:
rinse/brush teeth
wash face w/unscented Dove bar then olay or neutragena spf 15 sensitive skin (ie fragrance free) skin lotion....let that soak in while I...
yuck-- so sorry that happened to you....that is how I felt the entire time I was pregnant...just constantly brushing strange hands off me and giving out dirty looks. Ugh....I have the creeps just thinking about it. Not the SAME thing, but the same feeling of people who have no business...
okay-- I am ordering the rosewater witch hazel today to add to my regimen. Day 2 on the Ponds and going well so far using it at night to remove makeup. I still need to find a good eye cream for night time. All the anti-aging eyes creams are so pricey, I hate to buy/try without knowing what...
wow- bummer, that is gorgeous! Vintage things sometimes go sky high on ebay (and in stores too for that matter):(
hope you can find something else as nice in the human price range.
kate
thanks girls-- the rose witch hazel might be just the thing I am looking for, and it is not much more expensive either. I have high hopes for the ponds...time will tell I suppose. It is hard to adjust, I did it tonight and did the warm washcloth and the regular witch hazel. I will have to get...
okay-- I am one of the acne prone girls, so I am going to try the ponds. Maybe I am overstripping my skin with all the acne products and making it worse. I like the idea of removing it with a warm washcloth then a witch hazel toner....but I hate the smell of the regular dickinson witch...
very nice pattern! 4 pieces sounds manageable to me :) I am a bit nervous to try it because I have only ever sewed on buttons and hems...never made anything from scratch! you girls are so talented with it! that's why I am trying to start slow....
kate
not grouchy at all-- exactly the kind of advice I need! I will try to find something modern with a vintage twist...I suppose I didn't realize that there was a large difference in the patterns of yesterday and today....sigh....
I will just keep ogling the ones on ebay for now;)
thanks--if...
