Hey members I'm trying to purchase Vintage Style Cossack Buttons for my Cognac Cossack Jacket. I've been on ebay and etsy with some options by I'm trying to get the best match. Does anyone have resources or suggestions for a vendor ?
I am posing my custom order Wesco Boss boots with Motor Patrol Toe replicating the Japanese Narrow boot make for the Japanese market. The boots were ordered in 2011 and worn sparingly. Dark brown cowhide leather with extra long instep strap. I have treated the boots with conditioner yearly...
I have seen several J-100's without linings and with the small size label sewn in. They were actually factory made and marketed this way. I don't understand the concept but they're out there.
I hope I'm correct in saying that the leather biker jacket is an American icon made most popular by the Brando, McQueen, and James Dean imagery. It was associated with counterculture and misfits potentially looking for trouble (biker gangs of the 60's and '70's). The look will always be to...
the millennial group is certainly challenging. Their attitude toward social responsibility may be their moral compass and yes, they may eat soy and wear plethor. And perhaps their interest in vintage just isn't there. We'll stay tuned and watch things to evolve.

I do recall a Buco J-100 on eBay back in 2010. It had the 1950's label "Detroit, Michigan", and it was horsehide and all original, wonderful wear and patina - Gorgeous! I tried to talk the sell down from $1600 and he would not budge. . . and you know the rest of the story . . .
You are right about size. Seems like all the classic vintage jackets presently for sale are 36 - 40. The larger sizes were worn out and buried. I did see a couple of larger size Buco and Harley Davidson spotster white label jackets on ebay this past year which sold at the higher end of the...
I've got a Harley Davidson Sportser white label cafe, '60's Bates flat track slanted pocket cafe, and the original Buco J-100. They are all unique with fit, construction, quality, and most importantly the LOOK. I must say the leather on the Buco is superior to the others. The mystique and lack...
I was at RRL as few years ago. Wonderful inventory! However, you'd have to sell a kidney to purchase anything. Their customers are rock stars and foreign visitors that 'need it now'. It's a whole different universe of customers.
