I favor Kona brand but I will drink any coffee provided it is black, no sugar and very strong. There is a coffee shop I go to once a month and enjoy a triple expresso. Caffeine has little effect on me.
The only negative comment I received was from my Mother after I graduated from college, many years ago. I had a very nice, I thought, sportsmens cap, that she hated so much, she told me she would buy me any other headgear if I gave her the cap. I did and she destroyed it.
When I was a kid, my father told about the type of stuff he read as a kid; Doc Savage, The Phantom, The Shadow and so on. I read as many as I could find. Now we have, Dirk Pitt (horrible). Those old novels were much better.
I like the people hear. I do not fit too well in your "subcultures" so I lurk mostly. But the people here remind me of when I was young, and stayed with my grandparents in the summer. Now that was retro and I loved. So I will lurk, listen to good stories and remember those good times...
Nikon makes a decent scope. If you can afford, get a Zeiss or Swarovski scope. You should have really good optics with a fine rifle such as the Browning Bar. That outfit will take down anything in North America with the possible exception of polar bear. And the ammo is inexpensive and easy...
I would get a standard BAR II in 30-06. That would be excellent for deer, elk, moose and some bear. If the rifle is well built then recoil should not be a problem. Next, you need to decide on optics.
