i'm a modified Curly Girl (completely on accident) because I use a non sulfate shampoo, but very infrequently....twice a month, maybe. I've pretty much stopped using products that require a liberal scrubbing to remove, so I could get rid of shampooing all together- but i do like to thoroughly...

I believe this brand is available at sephora.
This is your best bet since most "organic" lipsticks are really horrid when it comes to formulas.
I second the poster who mentioned Face Atelier Zero Minus. I wouldn't call it high end though, when you consider the price per use. A little bit goes a very long way, and i've had no issue of it spoiling.
This has been a staple in my pro kit. I had a bride with the most lovely porcelain skin...
I am beyond jealous. I know i can't use the pan stick due to the limited color range. I can't truely tell if i can use the pan cake for the same reason. the deepest color is "tan".
i used the pan stick in beauty school and it was nothing short of amazing.
I still do that :whistling
I need to go buy a few lipstains from revlon. i've spent probably just under a hundred dollars on more expensive lip tints and stains that really were not worth the packaging they came in.
eh, price sometimes doesn't mean anything lol.
i've bought the silk foundation from Armani that was 59 bucks. i went back to my 6 dollar foundation and gave the Armani foundation to a friend who is my skin tone and a high-end whore. (Automatically thinks higher prices equal better quality...
I had to have my routine condensed due to me being lazy and not wanting to get up in the mornings when i'm supposed to.
here's what i use- you can tweak where need be
-tinted moisturizer [ many brands carry already made tinted moisturizer. i typically make my own on the back of my hand...
My guilty pleasure is Lush's Ultra Bland cleanser. Omg that smell.....so lovely.
if anybody knows how to duplicate that smell- let me know PLEASE! I'm going to be making some cold cream soap soon, and if I can have that smell in it, instead of using the ultra bland (which is just fancy cold...
Here's what i go by in terms of do i want to give a heck what a person thinks of me:
Do You Pay My Bills?
If the answer is no, they don't matter to me.
"If you don't mind a mauling, you don't have to work. The machines do everything: They beat you and knead you and pumel you and shake you. You just have to be able to take it."
....I'd normally call the police in such situations.
baltimore is rediculously small too, in the sense of the 6 degrees of seperation...but its more like 4. so i understand the looks all too well.
i get looked at by the women in the gym, with a very puzzled/disapproving look (as if their opinions matter). But by the end of my workouts, i come out...
i've been called ghetto for this, but when i go to the gym, i have my hair in magnetic rollers (the back), and my bangs rolled back. i then wear a scarf or bandana around the rollers- 40s working woman style.
when i'm working out, i'm more concerned about function rather than how cute i look...
The book offers how-to's for if you were going to be taking the Chicago Cosmetology Standard Exam. Quite specific, I'm sure. The books clearly outlines what should be done for the effective care of skin conditions, how to properly clean skin by the 1939 standards, what type of makeup should be...
i completely forgot about this thread.
anyways, i checked out the copywrite, and since that book is no longer being produced at its from 1939, i can post info, so long as i give credit.
so if anybody is interested in information from that book, let me know!
I have such mixed feelings about coty. My grandmother used to use it (has since abandoned makeup...tragic), so even though it would come up as an ashy cast on my skin, i had some emotional ties to it.
Changing the wonderful carboard packaging...ugh. Horrid.
a bit unrealted, but i'm still...
I'm a recent convert to bar soap. When i was a teenager, I took rather poor care of my skin, using whatever products my mom had. She has oily skin, and I have dry skin. And I don't mean run of the mill dry- my skin can rival the Sahara desert. So even though I would slather on tons of...
