That's the beauty of a snap brim. When you want to set the hat down, perhaps on a countertop, just snap the brim up. Before putting the hat back on, just snap it back down.
When storing the hat in your box, snap it up if it's hitting the box.
I keep all my hats (3) on a coat/hat...

I always tell people with a stingy brimmed fedora you could be casual (brim up all around) or business-like (snapped down in front). Depends on your mood or the setting or maybe the weather.

I talked with one guy in particular who had three different hats from three different manufacturers all labelled with differing fitted sizes. They all fit the same. Go figure...
I kinda felt the same about the characters. Other than that it was pretty good. Here's a little nugget. The hat Russell wears while under a "disguise" is a gray Akubra Snowy River. They tamed the brim and gave it a little character.

Mike, at DM here. The Bushman and the Drover are two different styles. The Drover has a wider non-snap brim and a more round open crown where the Bushman's crown is a little boxier (is that a word?).
