Even better to have one of the old days. Construction and materials is superb. Only improvement I would do is to change the inner pocket lining which is some nylon to something with a more natural feel (canvas, fleece (like the barbour inner handpockets). Dehen makes this jackets since 1951...
A true American classic, the Dehen 1920 Varsity Jacket. Core part from 24oz Pendelton wool and the sleeves from american bison. I love the structure of the leather and the timeless design. Thanks to my family to give me a present like this for my birthday. (they listend to a wish or commend it...

Braun RT 20 Radio by Dieter Rams 1961:
I always wanted a tube radio, so a couple of years ago I found this Braun RT 20. The usual tube radios with their mostly dark brown and rustic design were a lesser option. I love the design but the soul of this radio as well. It takes about 10 seconds to...
nice story and simple instruction to follow, i totally agree. i once had an electric braun shaver in the army be-cause you could run over the face with it without a mirror. helpful to not fail a daily shave check at last minute. But it never really felt clean. Stuck for a while with safety...
sorry no images from the legs of this trouser. Definitely no slim fit, they are wide. The sizing is done by waist and you have to shorten them to your size.
Seaman Trouser handtailored for Gasoline Alley:
A weekend in Munich and esp. the saturday “morning” isn´t complete without a visit at the Gasoline Alley. So last saturday I was there around 2pm, just to come back again 2:55pm (5 min before closing) be-cause of this seaman trouser/pants. Burkhard...
Phantomfixer, thanks for your knowledge and sharing it. I will try to digg deeper in that story and might as well find some photos in the family albums.
Manufacturer Label
sorry i forgot to post the Label numbers/code:
The Manufacturers Label says:
Type: B-3
DWG. NO. 33H5595
C. ORDER NO. 42-22899-P
Size 38
Hello,
from my girlfriends family comes this Aeroleather B-3 jacket, which her grandfather a german airforce pilot probably traded with an USAF pilot. Unluckily size 38 which is way to small for me. Can someone comment if the Prym zipper is original and with the manufacturers label is it...
so i got my second pair, one from 1943 back with a rubber sole now. they feel much better now and you do not walk around like i ski boots.
the sizing issue or the thick socks issue, I can agree! I guess due to the cold weather conditions they were made for bad and cold weather so space for...
my vintage swiss army backpack - salt and pepper pattern
Hello,
here is one image of one of my backpacks. A Swiss army backpack with the salt and pepper pattern from 1963.
For the daily use I think this one is just perfect and the craftsmanship of this bag is just outstanding. Check my blog...
Swedish army boots from 1943, brown in mint condition
since the 1946 model in 44 was a bit too big I was able to get another pair in mint condition. And guess what, its a 1943. I like the darker brown more, and the loop to pull them on.
images can be seen here...
It seems the small/lighter one is more available:
