My latest blog addresses the appalling lack of manners permeating our society:
This is not the place for shameless self promotion of your blog. It was deleted once, but you didn't get the message. It appears that it wasn't very well-received by the patrons here. Do a little soul searching...
I've twice flown in a B-17 and once in a B-24. http://www.thelovablerogue.com/page6.html. I have a greater appreciation for the courage required to fly in combat after having flown in those planes.

I've flown in both the Collings B-24 and B-17 (twice). What an incredible experience. You really begin to understand the courage it took to fly combat missions day-after-day.

Red Wing will resole their shoes. Just take them to a Red Wing shoe store. They seem to stand behind their product. I'm not sure if you can send Wolverine's back to the factory for a resole or repair.

My Red Wing GT's are breaking in nicely. It's taken several weeks but I can feel the difference. They still have a bit to go but I can tell they are going to be very comfortable.
My Wolverine's are 8D and my Red Wing's are 7 1/2 D. I normally wear 8 1/2 or 9. I was surprised I needed to drop down to 7 1/2 on my Red Wings however the 8's were just too loose.
