I Adore Film Noir and ohairas, thank you so very much for your advice. :) I went in and got the hair at the nape trimmed the other day, so it already looks a little better. I will continue to have my hair trimmed at the nape until the front grows in. Thank you again.- missjazzage

I now know the shingle bob only involves shaving the nape of the neck, not halfway up the head like my stylist mistakenly thought. My hair has grown from that, and here's what it looks like now: I want to have the hair off the nape of my neck, (it looks odd being longer in the back) thus...- missjazzage

Is there anyone interested in 1920's haircuts? Here is what I recieved after asking for a shingle bob: From what I know of the bobs of the time, it appears the hair dresser shaved up way too high, and it doesn't look right. Could I get your views on this, ladies? And please be honest. ;)- missjazzage

What rouge do you use?
I use Tangee Rouge. It changes colour to become perfect for your skintone. I have a fair skin tone, and it turns to a lovely rosey/raspberry shade. I love it! I use a blusher brush, and apply it to the apples of my cheeks after I have applied my foundation and powder.- missjazzage

Attemped Louise Brooks bob. I have been getting my hair cut in a 1920's fashion for over a year now. This previous time (just a few days ago) I was going for a shingled look in the back.
