I’m hoping that’s the case. There is a blocking tag that’s mostly obscured by the liner. maybe that will hold some clue as to when it was made? I need to pull the liner off to straighten it up anyway. Thanks for your help.
This hat was made by Bill Taylor hat manufacturing company in Cleveland. It’s very well made. My best guess is it’s probably from the 50s. I’ve never heard of this company and I don’t seem to be able to find much out on the Internet. Anybody know anything about Bill Taylor?
Thanks again. Some interesting stuff on the hat maker. I can't find any pictures of a similar hat or label so its hard to guess a date. It's definitely pre-'50's though.
Thanks. I'm considering myself lucky on this one. It's hard to find vintage hats at these markets nowdays. I'm cursed with a large head, so it's really tough!

Thanks! I haven't heard of Adam Baum. I'm thinking its probably from the late '40's, maybe early '50's, but who knows? it's a 7 1/2. I got at an antique show in a nice '60's Dobbs box, both for $20 bucks.

Thanks. I live in Florida. We have Mothra size moths.
