Steve McQueen wanted to do a motorbike chase in the movie. If the filmdirectors didn't give him that, he wouldn't have signed up for the movie either. Glad they did and a classic movie was made. And there my love for the A2 jacket started.- Ronald

Here in Belgium you don't see many people wearing fedoras whatsoever. There are, here and there, but you don't see it on the streets sadly. As for the Indy fedora, I own a Akubra Federation since 2002 and still wear day in day out. Guess I'll be needing a new one soon as this one has seen a... -

Indeed, they are getting less and less. Last year one of my dear friends of the same company passed away. Jack Foley was platoonleader of 1st platoon near the end of the war. What a great man he was. I met many of the Band of Brothers and I was lucky enough to befriend a couple of them... -
