Mine is dated 1967. I'd say the quality is more or less what I'd expect from a mass-produced item for military issue - functional and sturdy enough. The wool is slightly coarse. Finer than my gulag quality Russian navy greatcoat, but coarser than my mystery German greatcoat. I've not had...- Anixtu
