I am curious to see this film, but I no longer can
handle bloody films anymore...I just can't.
Especially, knowing the 'gore' behind the story
just gives me the creeps.
Mixed feelings...which is too bad for me b/c I like
everyone involved & have been impressed by the
reviews.
I knew a few of you would have heard of this gem!
I am also happy to see some references for the "Extra"
along with other magazines. I am planning on subscribing.
It is a great reader & gives me great enjoyment!
Thx everyone!
Hi all ~ Just wanted to let you know about this fabulous magazine
I came across at the beauty parlor. The gals there let me have it.
It's called Reminisce and it's the best! This issue I have is all about
Christmas and it has pages & pages of peoples old photos from decades
ago, along...

I haven't seen it, however I have read from others who loved
the book didn't enjoy the film. I do want to see it, however I
also want to read the book. Wondering if I should see it first
and then read it. Might be best.
I recently read that you should give your hands a nice scrub as you suggested. It had never dawned on me to treat my hands like my face, but that is what they suggested for younger looking hands.
My best attempt act combating dryness is taking cold cream and applying it to my entire body and...
I agree. I am a HUGE fan of 'Batman Begins'. I went into watching it because there happened to be nothing else worth watching on the big screen at that time and mommy had a hall pass from home. I adored it and bought the movie when it came out on DVD. I am in hopes that the second Batman...
SouthWestern Turkey ~ My husband marinates it in an amazing array of flavors for two days & bakes it.
I make a SouthWestern Stuffing with fresh made cornbread, fresh cooked tamales, & such.
It's really quite delicious and I look forward to it!
I agree totally ~ however, for me personally - I choose not to give this man my money for him to move forward with his personal agenda's which clash with my own personal views.
I am a Christian...it's just my choice, as it is his to write his books and make attempts to squash God & belief in...
A friend sent me this link regarding this movie.
Apparently, the books are written by an atheist who admitted
his intent with his books was to "kill God" ~
The books are suppose to have anti-religious themes and
if you go to this snopes page it will give the full detail of the claim
and it's...
I am excited to read this book. I adore Joan Blondell, there was
something so 'contagious' about her personality & smile.
Just to read in your review about the horrible things put upon her by the men she met & married really puts a new spin as to if that bubbly personality was as real as I...
Dita is a real perfectionist & the movie doesn't start
filming for another 10 months. I am certain she will
be training for this role the entire time, so maybe
something will come of it than just her pretty face.
I give her credit for doing something that is this huge.
She knows it's sink or...
*VERY* intrigueing and I look forward to seeing this.
It's hard to think that this poor girl's attorney & mother
were both paid off, but then I think it was during the
Depression yes?? ((Not sure if 1937 was as much as a
struggle as the earlier 1930s had been)) If so then perhaps
this...
Louis Malle
Last night ~ TCM ~ Le Souffle au coeur (1971) "Murmur of the Heart"
Written & Directed by Louis Malle
It was one of those movies that are odd, but you keep watching it to
see where it's all going. I really liked it & could see myself watching
it a few times and seeing things...
Watched "Scream of Fear" (1961) today with Susan Strasberg.
It was a B&W Hammer Film & I loved the suspense & twist in it.
It was on TCM. If it should come out again try to catch it.
PLOT SUMMARY
After narrowly surviving an accident in which she nearly drowned, the wheelchair bound...
no, no...please no! I don't care WHO stars in a remake...
it's just plain senseless. It's NOT Hitchcock behind the
lense giving direction. It's like someone saying they
are going to paint a better & newer Mona Lisa.
It can't be better and who cares if it's newer.
And I felt the same way...
