American Gods, which I wanted to like a lot more than I did. I found the story really slow, Shadow lacking, and I figured out a good chunk of the "mystery" about half way through. I have other extensive thoughts on the book, but over all aside from the lavish descriptions, I found it kinda boring.- Lady Day

1984 My first time. I gotta say, I think it's because the ideas of this book are so engrained in modern society, that I am finding this a rather lackluster read. I would read a book about the Ministries and the philosophies of New Speak all day long, but Winston is an annoying protagonist.- Lady Day

Ive tried a couple in their Bomb series. I find Birthday Bomb nearly undrinkable, as my threshold for stouts from 1-10, goes to about an 8, and that was easily an 11. Same for Dragon's Milk, which I almost rained poured. But stouts are one of my, if not my favorite styles, so long as they are...- Lady Day
