lol, yeah, I just thought my mental comparison to tie-dying was kind of funny. I'd love to see pictures of anyone who has a darker hat with a not-too-stark lighter band on it. They seem to be relatively rare compared to darker bands. -

How do you store your hats?
Rather than guitar hooks, like Dated Guy, I simply put my hat on the headstock of whichever guitar is leaning upright against the couch on a given day. -

I too really started to pay attention to felt hats after seeing "The Natural" a half dozen times. The hat in your avatar, tonyb, reminds me very much of one of Redford's in that film. Can you give me some more info about it?
