We watched Elf recently. I love it too. I especially love how they pay homage to the Rankin and Bass Christmas shows, such as the way they have the elves dressed and the appearance of Santa's workshop.

I’ve noticed that most people give approving looks when I wear a bow tie. I’ve only noticed a couple of “questionable” looks and in each case they appeared to be high school aged girls, just an observation.
The Eagles Nest in Indianapolis is nice. The food is great but other (comparable) places in town aren't as expensive. I've not been there since the summer but they have just remodeled.
