for about 4 months and It was fun while it lasted but its a whole lot of up keep and expensive to keep the way I wanted it (Jean harlow) I also went from bright red and I had been red for 11 years. It took 2 months to get the color I wanted, and at first it was more yellow...
That fluffy skirt...
Today I wore My (Target) poodle skirt, with 3 crinoline slips , a cinching red belt with a red blouse. And yes I wore this to work. I thought to myself one day.. what would I wear If I worked here in the 50's?? so there you have it.... a Poodle skirt Target Girl.
I think it only qualifies as a costume if your playing a part..
Other wise if you're wearing vintage clothes it just means you have style. I wear vintage styles from day to day. My favorites are the 30's ,40's, and 50's. I try to incorporate my inspiration from these era's in to my daily...
