I don't have a jacket that allows the use of a pocket square...yet.
However, I have read and checked inspiration blogs. I like the idea of using varying shades and complimentary colors. If you are wearing a white shirt with a blue tie, try a different shade of blue. Blue shirt with a blue...
Hexenmeister,
Would you please distinguish which of these items came from Kohl's. I'm in there every week or so. I may need to take a closer look at their inventory.
Thanks.
He had never had a straight shave before and, while he has no plans to take it up himself, we made plans to do it again next week. It may possibly become a regular thing. This is exciting for a couple of reasons. I like to shave and I like to hang out with my brother.
Yesterday, I gave my brother a straight razor shave. It went pretty well. Two WTG passes and some touch ups. He loved it. He said it was super relaxing. It was a lot of fun for me to see close up how someone elses hair grows. Plus it gave me another chance to shave in the same day.

I agree with everything you said Riposte3. I have used Conk as well. It's the only locally available soap besides Williams and VDH. I think it's a fantastic soap for the money (~ $3 here). I haven't tried any of the high end soaps like Mitchel's or Tabac...yet.
Williams is a tough one. It's a lot of work for a so-so lather. Slick as can be, but not very dense. I have a puck that just kinda sits there. I'm thinking of just throwing it out completely.
I saw a truck driving down the highway yesterday advertising the owner as a chimney sweep. To my surprise, I didn't see any one-man-band equipment in the back.

My father in law picked this up for me as a birthday present. He found it at a gun show in Bakersfield. The scales aren't in great condition but the blade is. I can't wait to get it honed up and ready to shave.
Hey Guys!
So I took a couple of trips to a local antique shop this weekend and found a couple of nice items. The first was a vintage barber's hone. The other was this vintage EE Mos straight. It is part of a 7 day set. A friend that I met on another forum came down with me and gave me some...
Costco's store brand, Kirkland, makes some great tees.
They are a good weight, not "see through". Well fitted, at least for my body. I'm a slim guy. They're long, but not so long as to bunch up around my waistline.
