Wow, it's been ages since I last posted anything here! I was so inspired looking at all the lovely things that everyone has been making, soooo I made a dress. I used a 1960's pattern, couldn't tell you which one as I am too lazy to go and find the packet! I used a light weight wooly material...
I am quite slender, so rely on the 50's look to add curvers where there aren't really any!
I have a small waist, so look better with tight fitting up top, and rely on full skirts and petticoats to add shape! [huh]
Tea Party!
Homemade cakes always go down well! Cupcakes, fruit cake...something simple!
A selection of tea, Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Assam, English Breakfast...and maybe some sparkling wine...mmm!!
Music...whatever you fancy! Louis Jordan, Glen Miller, Doris Day!!!!
I LOVE tea...

There's nothing wrong with mixing and matching vintage with modern stuff. I am sure most of us do already...for instance today I have a vintage 50's dress on with a New Look cardi...but to say that the point of wearing vintage is to not look...

I really don't want to be selling these things, but I am a bit short of cash and have a new tattoo to pay for! :D

Dress no.1
I have never made anything in my life...so this was a test run. My very first dress...ever! I used a pattern from 1964, and the fabric was an old bed sheet from the market for £1.00  Can't wait to make my next one :D
PS. Please ignore the unmade bed! Haha, I was in the...
Haha! Some people are so odd, aren't they?
There's nothing wrong with mixing vintage with coloured hair. To me dying my hair pink is no different to deciding to dye it blonde. It's just a hair colour. [huh]
Just glad there are so many nice people on here that are nice about my haircolour :D
Hi AmyGeorgina, I recently used the same colour on my hair! I tried to go from jet black to blonde, knackered my hair so put the pink La Riche Directions on my hair...just recently changed it to red though!
Will have to post the results!
