Nice. I've seen a few like this one on eBay recently. Give me a 50s vibe, a bit Sinatra. Proportions like these pair nicely with a short jacket, especially a leather like an A2 or such, imo. -

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?
FWIW, I don't think it's a bad fit. A little room in it, but it doesn't look wrong - just a bit of space for layering. I've gotten to a point where I prefer this look in a Perfecto over the airbrushed-on look. Just today ordered my first new leather in a very long time. It's an OTR, so...- Edward

Nice boots. I like grained leather like that. So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.
It's been interesting watching that develop over the last twenty years., particularly with the UK universities being radically more expensive, and now less linked in to the various European research schemes. If I had my time over again, I'd definitely consider something like that as an option...- Edward

Nice hat. I've been tempted by an Akubra Sombrero for some time - a very similar style, but I wish they'd put a ribbon like this on it instead of the furry one, which makes it look somewhat cartoonish to my eye. -

Yeah, jeans as a default for all occasions is a much more recent thing than we often realise, even moreso here in the UK. As I'm given to understand it from my parents' generation, even in the 60s turning up laces in a pair of jeans could be remarked on. I do remember my school lifting the ban... -
