My understanding is that the studded Dainite/Itshide sole was made for traipsing fields in England. I imagine they’re perfect for that, but you can see why they’re not so good on concrete or, worse, linoleum floors.

I used to have a Royal Enfield single cylinder, which I loved in many respects, but boy it broke down all the time! The newer ones are much more reliable, and there are lots of modifying can do easily if you want to make it your own, with parts from companies like Baak.
