Today I am out of leather and found my old foreign legion jacket from 1968. It has been years since I last wore this jacket but recently lost some weight so dusted it off and voila!
Sleeves length needs to be a little longer as already stated, good fit through the body, maybe a bit of length if you ride, if not I say it is fine. The leather is your choice as with the lining which makes a lot of difference according to climate.
