    Like most hats, the color varies with different lighting. It's very dark forest green but shows a lighter nice green in brighter lighting conditions.

    Scoty, that is the exact ad I have framed at home and was referring to. Along with this one. The color "Grouse" in this picture I have attached reminds me of your hat. It might be possible that was the exact color name. Only thing missing is the little gamebird pin.
