Levi’s 501 STF are my beaters. I have them in several colours. For a regular straight fit imho are difficult to beat. As other have said I think the indigo rigid (501-0000) are still a decent quality. I have had new old stock from the early 90’s and they were no better than today’s. in fact, I...
There are 2 versions of this jacket one is advertised as 1.3mm and the other as 2mm. Just saying maybe you handled the 1.3mm version?

The same company (Noverre ltd) operates - or at least used to - three websites/shops: Real McCoy’s London, superdenim.com and markkt.com. Only the last one (selling used clothing) is operating at the moment.

London RMC store website now is down. Not sure what’s going on but also Superdenim.com (same owners as RMC London) carries no stock. Maybe just a change of ownership but it’s not easy at the moment to get RMC in Europe.

I suggest using ZenMarket.jp as a proxy service. The fee is fixed at 300yen whatever you buy. Not sure if RMC would ship to them though but you can give it a go.

For leather jackets looking good zipped up it’s more important imho than unzipped. Excluding perhaps jean jackets, I’m normally ok not wearing any jacket if I’m fine wearing it open.
That is a fine cafe racer but it looks too big all around in these pictures. You’ll find a buyer easily if you...
As others have said the best deals to be found are probably on yahoo japan but I think that’s when you know what you are doing which is often not the case at the beginning.
Japanese brands easily available in Europe are the Real McCoy’s and Buzz Rickson’s. Way out of budget for the OP...
I think it’s very hard to get them working in a office... the only pair that could work should at least have a low block heel and a flattish toe. At that point I’d go with Chelsea boots and get a pair of proper engineers for casual wear.

If the last is the CN (classic narrow) I’d go with a 9US reg. I don’t have experience with the other lasts.
I think it depends a lot also on leather they are made of. The Italian horsebutt my first pair was made in was much more pliable than my current pair which is in Latigo. The Horsebutt is...
RC definitely makes stock boots for NemStore which I believe is in Taiwan. I bought from them through Instagram (not RC though).

On the other hand, isn’t Aero the gold standard in this forum?
Construction quality above Aero isn’t really quality but just an unnecessary embellishment that little adds to the overall desirability of the jacket.
Prices above Aero are just hyped up and not really reflective of a superior...
Similar as above I’d like to give it a go. As good as the jackets look though I can’t bring myself to wait more than 3 months, let alone years. Just the thought of such a long wait kills me.
Also I think he caters more to people who care about exact replicas which is not paramount to me. Add...
It’s undoubtedly a risky ($$$$) game purchasing from Japan.
I guess a second hand near new pair is a good starting point as the chances to resell it for what you paid for if it doesn’t fit are higher.

Both Clinch boxes I’ve seen report exactly the same three sizes that Blackadder mentions above:
1 - the Clinch size (not sure what’s the meaning of this)
2 - the US size which is = to Clinch - 1
3 - the UK which is 0.5 less than US
The current pair that fits is a Clinch 10/US9/UK8.5.
I’m...
