No idea mate. From where they are situated (hem of the jacket) I would say I possibly rubbed on something? I haven’t tried cleaning them as they are pretty small an I don’t want to make them worse.

Clearing the wardrobe so this boy has to go. The hid is in good shape, worn but solid and supple. The collar is in pretty much mint condition and the knits and si are good and solid too.
Pit to Pit = 23.5"
Back (Bottom of knit to base of collar) = 25"
Shoulder = 18.5"
Arm Length = 23.25"...
Thanks Tweedy. It’s a bind to sell it as it is my grail jacket but it my area of Australia is way to warm for this fella so it will just sit in the wardrobe.

Hi all,
I’m reluctantly selling my 1942 Irvin jacket. This is a fairly rare large size 6 complete with original zips, collar elastic and escape whistle. The jacket it in great condition considering it’s age and I regularly wore it in dry weather while out in my MGB and can be worn with respect...
Well if your ur looking to off load it I’ll give you $20 plus postage to Victoria! Where in gods own country are you from DGM? I’m originally from Leith but have been here 20 years.
Totally agree Plumbline. At the the time I couldn’t be arsed sending it back and besides I had toyed with a Russet one anyway. I was a wee bit disappointed with Denny’s response at the time tho as it’s clearly Russet.
