    Eastman’s Poughkeepsie AN-J-4 uses a thinner fleece than the standard one and is lighter than the B-3 that they produce . When I got mine they only made them in size 40 regular, but that might have changed now.

    Hi mike. If you google , g1 jacket contracts , the Wikipedia page comes up and on it is a list of dates and manufacturers. I just had a quick look and the jacket you mention dates to 1951.

    Hi Bob, yes I think it is seal jerky horse . I bought this jacket new a number of years ago from aeroleather and although it isn’t an accurate reproduction it is still a lovely jacket to wear and is very well made.
