That’s how Broncos are cut, more roomy than some A-2 contracts. If you want a trimmer original maker jacket from Aeroleather , try their pre war and early war contract jackets.
I recently purchased a pair of ww2 Luftwaffe leather gloves.they are in very good condition with only a few small scratches here and there. My question is how would I go about caring for the leather and which type of conditioner to use ? I do have Renapur and Eastman leather cream ( Gliptone)...
I would advise against keeping sheepskin jackets on hangars for long periods of time. Buy a suit bag with a zip up front and place jacket inside it then lay flat in a wardrobe or similar away from heat .
Have you tried five star leather? They could make you an accurate looking B-3 in whatever length and size you want . They are also very good value for money
Just wear it and it will soften up, B-3’s take a lot of breaking in and can be quite tiring to wear for long periods but it will soften up the more you wear it.
If you want it trim specify your actual chest size , as Aero Irvins are on the larger size, as irvins were made to be worn over sweaters and battle dress etc.
I find that the Buzz Rickson nylon jackets they seem to run a size larger than on the tags i take a size 40 normally, but all my Buzz jackets are 38 or medium.
