    Advice on new A-2

Very true, but slightly out of my pricerange

    Advice on new A-2

That could work! I’m a 41 inch chest (even though my shoulders are about 20 inches) so that’s why I’d like to stay with a 42… a 44 might be too baggy?

    Advice on new A-2

I would go for a GW even if I had to wait half a year up to a year, but I heard waiting times of 3-4 years and that’s not something I’m willing to do

    Advice on new A-2

That's great, I'll ask him what patterns he also does. Is quality on par with GW/ELC?

    Advice on new A-2

I fear for it being too small as well, I think I'll need a Long in every ELC jacket besides the HLB, which would render it unreturnable. The Cable from Norshor looks great, I'm just not that big a fan of that specific contract (collar).

    Advice on new A-2

Hello all This summer I'll be buying (or placing the order) of an A-2, it'll be my first. I already own an Easman G-1 which I absolutely love. I'm currently doubting between Eastman and Goodwear (BK might be possible too, but I heard mixed things about them). I know Goodwear is highly regarded...

    Thoughts on Eastman SFAD

I already feared the suede would be fragile. I hoped to remedy that with a good quality waterproofing spray that doesn’t damage the leather, but those sleeve facings do worry me

    Thoughts on Eastman SFAD

Hello guys I'm planning my next purchase, and though it might be -way- too early, sheepskin never leaves my mind. I'd like to ask owners of Eastman SFAD B-3 jacket's thoughts on them. The way they look, the quality of the merino pelts, the wearability etc. I really love the look of them, but...

    seraphin leather

hello all, I've been saving up for a long time to buy me a seraphin jacket, only problem is I don't know where to get them from. The limited stockists I could find only have 1-2 pieces at their disposal. Do any of you know where to get them from? I live in Belgium btw, so I could always go to...

    first quality-repro leather jacket

I'd like to thank all of you for offering your advice on this topic, I have decided to go with a G-1 from Eastman! I just pulled the trigger and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

    ANJ-4

Thanks for the reply. Winters do tend to get quite cold up here from november to february-march, so I'll definitely get a lot of wear out of it. I intend to get the trim look, layering with such a beast of a jacket isn't a necessity for me:) Also, as other members already told me, I can adjust...

    ANJ-4

I've also heard about it but haven't found the model on their site, only the normal ANJ-4. The poughkeepsie should be classified under original maker no?

    ANJ-4

If you wish to layer a D-1 is a perfect option indeed! I would want my jacket to be my daily driver, but layering isn't a must for me at all, that's why I wish to go for an Anj-4

    ANJ-4

I live in Belgium, I do hope I'll get a lot of wear out of it and wear it for most of the winter. Is an ANJ-4 truly that warm? Even in temperatures of 4-5 C°? Sadly not a single manufacturer makes one with a 1/4" fleece. But then again, that wouldn't be historically accurate.

    ANJ-4

Man, that collar is just a piece of art on its own. I had a hard time justifying the extra cost but I can see now Lost Worlds is on a whole other level. Congrats on your jacket, looks great! I will post here once I get mine;)

    ANJ-4

I like no-nonsense, I'm like that myself. Great coat hanger BTW!

    ANJ-4

Wow, that is an amazing jacket! What more is there to be said of this jacket, it is absolutely stunning. You might have just convinced me to go for LW. Did you get the fit and size right immediately?

    ANJ-4

Good morning to all of you. After thinking for a long time, my decision has been made that I'll pull the trigger on an ANJ-4 this fall. I am still unsure however as to which maker I'll go with. I've narrowed it down to either eastman or Lost Worlds, but I cannot decide between the two. Is the...

    WW1 flying coats

TBH, that eastman with a shearling lining would be absolutely perfect, as the cotton lining is the only thing that's putting me off at the moment.

    WW1 flying coats

The shorter one has my preference too. The most beautiful design are the french flying coats, and Chapal does make a stunning example. Just not quite prepared to splurge that amount of money on a coat.
