Looking sharp as usual, Michael. I hope the festival goes well. Are you aware that the bicycle is celebrating it's 200th anniversary this month? Apparently the Tour de France is starting in the town where the bicycle was first invented. Honestly, I'm glad there has been some advancements since...
I was wearing the Tilley as I took the babies fishing and prefer for it to get wet as it floats in the event that Murphy's Law kicks in. I didn't take any pics, but I do have this pan of fish bones as evidence of the trip. [emoji6]

Thanks. I was starting to think that way after searching the web. After I hear about people having return issues with EA, I am not sure I will order from them. I am still thinking it over.

That sucks. Shouldn't have to chase for a refund if the sizing is off. A little big is one thing, but too small is another. Can't skin the head to make it fit. How much stretching can a hat stretcher do without jacking up the look of the hat and sweat?

Grilling some yard bird and some veggies with the Balmoral. I have come to enjoy this hat as it is the only straw I have. Feels good on the head and looks good to boot. I am going to keep an eye out of one of those OR hemps some of you have been sporting. Home made peach pies for dessert.

You are correct that they are costly, and there are tiers to the weight vs cost ranges. I will not divulge how much it cost as most non-cyclist cannot understand the rationale just like non-hat wearers do not understand. I try to ride about 3000-3500 miles a year. I look at it as an investment...
Let me know if wearing blue brings out the blue more. Here in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, the sun really does make the grass have a blue hue to it.

Great hat, Karl. I was just talking to my wife about one of those for my birthday. She isn't keen on the BGG, but I think it has more potential. She is stuck on the green aspect and not it's ability to be versatile. I have enjoyed my Father's day Akubras, and plan on getting many years of...
That would be interesting acoustics as the hum from a carbon bike and the pawls from carbon wheels can be really loud and unique sounding.

It is carbon fiber, and it is very light and stiff, just like the Akubra hemp. Great bike. I can't afford the higher end frame, but this one doesn't hold me back at all. It is a great balance as I added higher components and wheels. I'm off to ride and test this new wheel out.
