Just received a mail saying the black Badalassi has arrived with Aero so my mongrel MC jacket will be put into production today. A J106 front with a King of The Road back, antique brass hardwear apart from the studs that'll be in brass.
Hem is being reduced by 4 ins from my Sheene and all other...
Slight de-rail from the thread but.....where is that sweater from?
Been googling the hell out of button neck sweaters but can't find much that appeals.
Thanks.
If it's a flying jacket type you're looking for it might be worth looking at British Sheepskin.
I'm a 43' chest so ordered a 44" and it buried me. Went down and they exchanged it for a size 40" which fits perfectly.
They also make bespoke sizes...
I think it's just a normal human trait for favouritism of any specific brand to come and go.
Like yourself, I spent hours looking around on here at different manufacturers and styles. We're all different and something that someone thinks is the dogs nuts wouldn't be given houseroom by someone...
Bought a couple of Wested jackets around 18 months ago, a Captain America and a Skyfall.
The Skyfall made me realise the shrunken lambskin wasn't for me and I never wore it but sold it on. The Captain America style suited the look I was after perfectly and the fit was great. The quality on both...
Bought a cross zip flying jacket from British Sheepskin about January time this year. Ordered a size 44 and when it came it was outstanding!
Apart from the fact it would go around me twice
Spoke to Gary (the owner) and he said he'd be happy to alter it. What with one thing and...
Not exactly detailed but I have these...jacket at the time was about 3 or 4 days old. Rarely had it off my back and had given it the water spray treatment on and off for about 4 hrs.
Tobacco badalassi and very impressed with it, have a jacket coming in black badalassi.
No expert here on leathers but the Badalassi feels unreal, any other way to describe it you've just done..accurately so.
The mongrel MC is coming in black Badalassi and will be enamoured if it's anything like this one.
With Winter round the corner the CXLSH Windward will be getting most use...
One week in and this leather starts to break in wonderfully.
Regular water spray with warm water and wearing until dry seems to have worked its magic. Also helped the squeaking as has reduced by about 75%.
Not a long term member here but have found the place invaluable for finding out what I wanted to know ref leather jackets and types of leather.
Started with a Schott A2 that I thought was the nuts, dipped my toe in the water with Wested which I thought was fine.....then found this place! I'd...
@MrProper
Sent this photo of the rear of the Sheene ref sizing. I wouldn't want it any smaller on the shoulders and with the hem being 2" narrower it will slightly increase the 'V' shape.
The order has been placed however, when Chloe calls to take the deposit I'll double check with her.
I asked Chloe re sizing as my Windward is a 46 and my Sheene is a 44. They both fit very well and mailed her photos of them being worn.
I believe she spoke with Denny re sizing and she told me they'd recommend a 44 in the J106 as the fit was similar to the Sheene i.e. a slimmer fit than the...

Sticking with black stitching, have Olive drab stitching on my others and although I'm very happy with it decided to stay with black for this one.
No, I didn't get to see the zips, just decided on the colours from the Aero site before I went up there.
Now that's interesting!
I admit to thinking that sateen and satin were the same thing and I'd have worried about it tearing easily.
Thank you for that, appreciated.
