I like the reading material for the WC. Good stuff with the Lightning magazine there.
I like the jacket, short lenght which i love and you wear it well with those jeans.
Very few makers doing them nowadays and less doing them right. The vintage ones will cost you a fortune (They are the most desirable ones out there because new ones aren't as readily available)
You can buy them from Simon James Cathcart though as they have been reproducing them for few years...
The seller sold a jacket "in superb condition (only worn a few times)" that is damaged on arrival and it's clear that wasn't shipping damage.
The seller ought to make it right and cover the price of the repair whatever that is or take it back at his cost (This is not the buyer's fault, it's the...
It basically depends on the people working in your area and the delivery guy in particular at the end.
I've never had any problem with DHL either except when last month a package containing a pair of handmade Vass shoes bought on Ebay was "stolen" from the delivery van the same day it was on...
That looks gorgeous. I have to admit that I'm a sucker for the vintage look these japanese leathers develop. I am a fan of vintage leather jackets and clothes so when they accomplish the look and feel of vintage leather it really excites me.
I know that at the time the owners would have worn...
I'm excited to see the jackets on their new owners, is that weird?
Please @Carlos840 don't make us wait until you've broken it in :D
I'm sure @Marc mndt will sport the jacket well too! I think it suits him
Here you go. it's a classic design found on many different Canadian makers, you can see it often with different labels or no labels including the sunburst back.
My first vintage leather jacket bought from Canada (2016) and it was ~380€ plus the typical customs + taxes(So to me the price tag on...
Have a read here about that problem:https://www.styleforum.net/threads/the-tailors-thread-fit-feedback-and-alteration-suggestions.265924/page-604#post-10527852
The response of Despos who's a very good Tailor and is always helping guys:
I wouldn't even giv it a seocnd thought, it's a leather...
Thank you but that's too high praise! I just like to wear vintage style or vintage in general which I guess matches the jackets we all like.
Thank you! This coat is just amazing, I'm fortunate to have found a black one in size 40 and this brown one in size 38 together for less than the price...
It’s cold and windy in Barcelona for once.I am beyond excited to be able to wear the 3/4 leather coat.
Eastman Leather Brooklands motoring coat over a shirt and chunky vintage wool sweater.
If its for cold weather I think that a 3/4 leather coat is the way to go personally. Although the Shearling jackets are the warmest they are short and I really find it strange when people go with Shearling but then wear thin trousers/denim and get their legs and feet cold!
What temperatures are...
I'm pretty sure a competent leather tailor could just trim the side panels to fit you but the difficult thing would be to find one that is able to do it.
Did you cut out the liner?
