Nice! I like the intricate woven patterns, but especially the Luxira. Are they vintage? They remind me of the very late 70s-early 80s period before the really skinny ones came back in style.- dh66

I don't know anything about Poulton's hats, and honestly I don't care for black hats much, but I could tell this one was an old one, and since it fit and was ridiculously inexpensive I grabbed it. The sweat was padded with the piece of newspaper from 1934. There was enough in there to choke it... -

Flea and estate sale finds from this morning. Caught the black Poulson's fedora at a flea down in Northport, and stopped by an estate sale on the way home where I picked up an old Wright-McGill fly rod and blow mold Santa.- dh66

These weren't a quarter, but they were under $5 for the pair. An unbranded hand-painted with a fishing theme (rod and flies, but no fish....just like my last trip to the river) and a Seneca Cravat with a dog on it. I was in Baltimore back in the fall and found a dog head tie in a vintage shop...- dh66
