One thing to consider with shorter boots like that is that they might get caught up in your trousers every time you sit or bend your legs.
That clearly is not an issue with Chelseas or side zip boots because they are much tighter around the ankle. I really like the first peco boots you posted...
I don’t know if a piece of leather suitable for a jacket before being cut could measure more than 80cm in length, maybe you are right but not obvious.
Is the above price including insurance? This is what I get from Royal Mail ( parcel 2kg tracked and insured up to £300)
The seller says it fits like a 36-38 and that’s generally what I read from people about FC sizing. I’m pretty close to your height/weight (in fact slightly lighter) and I think I’d need a size up. At the very least with that style I’d want to be able to wear a light sweater underneath.
Shipping fully insured internationally gets very expensive very soon. I also think leather can be folded only to a certain extent so it’s the weight that matters but also the size of the box. I recently paid way more than €32 just to ship a 7kg box across Europe.
They are just buying stuff from yahoo Japan or other Japanese only web market places and reselling it on eBay with margins. They don’t have it in stock they are just buying it after you buy it on eBay. Of course there is a chance someone will have snagged it off Y! between the time you put in an...
Not feeling it to be honest. Looks like a lot of weight to carry and the leather barely shows apart from the arms. I think it’d make more sense a vest you can wear under but then again... why not just a proper winter jacket. There are so many cool coats out there.
^Lol what’s a VAJ?! You don’t want to err on the large side with that...
For working out the military jackets names -> patterns I normally just look at Eastman/Aero military pages.
^double up on the squats and you’ll find yourself with a ghetto booty in no time! :)
More seriously though, IMO relaxed jackets pair well with relaxed/straight cut jeans/trousers. No baggy cuts but no skinnies either. I think the fit of Red Devil jeans in those pic suits the cut of the jacket...
Looks killer! I’m a sucker for grizzlies so biased but I’d go as far as to say this is my favourite jacket of your entire collection.
I also like the relaxed fit a lot. Lately I’m not into of super fitted jackets.
I don’t care much for perfecto style jackets, not my style, my point is that looking at those photos to me there is a justifiable differential in price between the FCL and the RMC versus the Schott. Schott make good jackets but they are not in the same league. I think it’s pretty obvious. Once...
I fully agree. Is a Schott built like a RMC? Obviously not. It’s exactly the same argument so that’s why I think talking about Schott raising their prices based on heritage is absolutely nonsense. I’m sure heritage is already factored in in their current prices. There is only that much you can...
It’s a pretty good entry level jacket. Shinki is very likely much more expensive than the average looking leather they normally use so I think the price is fair.
I’d also have a hard time believing anyone who spends more than one month on TFL could think there aren’t better options.
I don’t...
If I were in Canada and needed custom I’d give a hard thought about getting a Kensington from Himel bros. I know it’s more expensive but... it’s nicer too.
