Currently I don't have fit pics of the new one. wdw, in a sense it's a one-off because of the hybrid size L/M. Shoulders and chest are L, below the armholes it's tapering down to M. The tag in my first one said M. Size M is a 39 and size L a 42. Back and sleeve length were specified by me, so...- Rudie

IMO the jerky HH has much more character than the smooth HH. The smooth HH looks kind of plasticky to me. Fanch, that seal goat you have, is it the new or the old goat? I have two russet goat jackets, one old, one new. The old goat has aged beautifully. It has no color loss but the grain has become very pronounced in wear areas. I can't say for sure, as I haven't had the new one long enough, but my impression is that it will age slower and keep its newness...- Rudie

Do you want your jacket to develop a patina quickly or would you prefer it to look new as long as possible? Chromexcel will get that faded worn in look much faster than most other leathers. Is that the Swedish vintage shop/haberdashery posted about here a few weeks ago? Looks like I really need to get to Stockholm and Göteborg soon. Some level of customization is still there, though. Think Simonc's Pioneer with button front. Or that they agreed to taper my Rockafella down from L to M to make the fit work for me. It's just that they don't do full bespoke service.- Rudie
