That is basically the decision that I’ve landed on. I mean, this jacket for all intents and purposes is ‘new’. It’s built like a tank, but very comfortable, so one very short winter in Sydney won’t do it any harm whatsoever.- dan_t

Actually, yes. Admittedly the jacket wearing season is short (say 10 weeks a year) so these beauties really don’t get much wear. Certainly not enough to break in even one jacket. :( Yup ;) One of the best there! It’s really a beautiful jacket & in a brilliant condition. Ask & Ye shall...- dan_t

Last pic shows it best. I like a firm fitting jacket by default. This one is just a fraction too broad across the shoulders & certainly has room to layer underneath. By all means though it is a very close call. Issue is that I rarely, if ever, wear anything other than a t-shirt or light cotton...- dan_t

Pretty sure you can specify the length you want, so shouldn’t really be any difference there (for a custom order). My understanding is that the cafe race pattern is wide at the top & has a somewhat dramatic ‘V’ shape taper to the waist. Whilst the Board Racer is narrower at the shoulders & more...- dan_t

What are your 2019 leather jacket buying plans or aspirations?
Well, I don’t get anywhere near enough cold weather to wear in one of my jackets, let alone 5. So nothing for me..... Unless a really, really nice & somewhat subtle cross zip magically appears for me to test this previously unexplored corner of the jacket madness world.- dan_t
