I agree with the others, at least in general… BUT I think that could possibly work if you don’t mind breaking some rules. I do think it’ll all pull together, color-wise at least, by wearing that blue/white shirt and some black or gray shoes. Trust me it’ll be polarizing with everybody either...- Gary in NC

I understand what you’re saying, but I also believe that vintage hats like to be worn and seen. If it dies as a result then it’ll die happy. If it’s a historical museum piece then that’s an obvious exception.- Gary in NC

Colour vs heat
Dark colors don't seem nearly as bad to me, but black just burns me up on a hot sunny day. That's true for me with all clothes - not just hats.- Gary in NC

What are you snacking on?
I like raw baby carrots, celery, or strips of cabbage with sriracha sauce on them. I also put together a mix of sunflower kernels and shelled pumpkin seeds with cayenne and crushed red pepper for a spicy, salty, crunchy treat.- Gary in NC

I have the Hemp Strat and a Milan Latte if that helps. There’s a 1/2” difference in brim but otherwise I think they’re similar enough to compare materials. I love both but I think the hemp feels more airy and limber in general than the Milan. The hemp weave feels very resilient and durable...- Gary in NC
