Lexybeast and Torpedo - you both look very sharp. Ever since I got my highwaisted tweed trousers from Petermans, I have worn them with my vintage RAF suspenders every day. It's a pleasure! Add a nice paleblue shirt, a cravat and the ol' Irvin - and I am ready for action.:)- Spitfire

The Frightening Beauty of Bunkers (French coast relics)
Thanks for sharing these great photos. They are truely ugly and frightening - and even so - also very beautifull, grotesque and almost surrealistic. As you might know, we have them on the westcoast of Jutland (Denmark) too. Lots of them - and impossible to get rid off. -

What's on your wishlist?
As I say to my wife: With a AERO Pre-war Irvin and a ALC Irvin (which is still up for sale - by the way) and several A2's in the closet, I sure don't need any more jackets!!!!!! (But a original pre-war Irvin would be nice);)- Spitfire

Dog help?
How about a French Basset Vendeen - they come in two or three different sizes (Petit, Grand). Grooming? Forget it, they are supposed to look like that. They are splendid dogs - with a great sense of humor. But since they are hounds (hunting dogs originally) they do need some exercise and...- Spitfire
