    I was saddened to wake up to this news yesterday. Dan was one of the NYC locals who was always good company and knowledgeable on a variety of topics. He leaves behind a huge group of friends that will miss and keep him in their thoughts.

    This was terrible news to wake up to today. Dan was one of the old time Fedora Lounge / NYC guys I used to meet up for lunch with in the mid to late 2000s. He was always an affable guy. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Condolences to his family and many friends. He will be missed.
