I'm still on the queue for my jacket which I put down the deposit in December 2021 for a custom design built off the Manhattan in pony brown. Sam contacted me towards the end of 2022, however with the news that pony brown was not an option anymore. That was a bummer and I've been debating on...
I would say that it's a fine look, particularly if you wear your jackets open. I don't particularly like anything zipped up when the shirt underneath sticks out of the bottom.
Unless brass is submerged in water, it's going to last for a long time. The green is actually a patina (something added on) and not a rust/decomposition (something taken away). I would be less worried about the structural integrity of the alloy vs how well it was initially put together.
While it's not my favorite look, if that's how you wear it, that's how you wear it. While I think the majority of the forum would say get higher rise jeans, tuck your shirt in, and get a shorter jacket, everyone has their own personal preferences. So as long as you are happy with it, that's...

Goat would probably work well, but I think a capeskin/ribby lambskin would work best. Basically, this design needs an Indy leather drape for it to look it's best.
Some higher rise jeans would eliminate your front length problem. Those look pretty lose rise. Arms are a little long, yes, but overall it's a fine fit. Very nice jacket.

There you go. Answered.
I will add that I also like collar snaps, but even on my motorcycle jackets that all have the snaps, I actually leave them unsnapped, similar to the reasons that Carlos says above.
Nah, they seem like they would fit in that category, but they are really the opposite of brands like Indochino/Suit Supply, etc. outside of still having similar pricing.
