    lol nobody is saying he’s gonna be the next Madoff. But one can easily imagine a situation where he keeps collecting the payments upfront to pay for expenses and keep the lights on in order to pursue his dream. Eventually these “deposits” will dry up and he’ll be forced to call it quits...

    Granted I'm probably more impatient than a lot of people here... no way in hell I'm paying and waiting years for someone to produce outerwear. Unless you're in one of their first few batches of customers, it just seems inevitable for a situation like this to arise and then you're left holding...

    The 42 reminds me of an ill-fitting Schott I tried once which was built off a bad pattern. Somehow too small and too big in various areas. It just didn't work. 44 is just too long and way too tubular. I also noticed you said they're "custom" - don't mean to be rude, but the only custom part...

    Looks good, but be prepared to give it time to soften up. CXL FQHH is notorious for being stiff - especially in colder weather which causes the waxes and oils to harden. Matter of fact, this was heavily discussed in another thread last week

    I've found for a LW J23, I needed to go up one size compared to my other jackets. Not sure why the sizing is that way - but that's how it worked out. Btw you should be posting this in Classifieds section I don't believe there's a sizing formula on his website

    LW will not show any strong fade or patina. These hides are tanned with the intention of maintaining the topcoat through everything you throw at it. What you can get in terms of "aging" is grain articulation of the HH. The russet horsehide can show some minimal patina, but it's not CXL-style...
