Baron, i'm not sure what this 'resilient construction' method is you're referring to.
i must admit, i find ties from the teens all the way through to the early 30s very difficult to date accurately, because styles changed so little.
i bought a batch of deadstock French ties last year, some of which have a selvedge lower edge, e.g:
...they could be anywhere in the teens -...
the 'Clothier and Furnisher' was a trade journal, and if these were shown at style shows do you think many of these designs never made it to production and remained, what we would call today, samples ?
so much to think about in these designs.
are these all Stein-Bloch ? some of them look similar to the 'Clothier and Furnisher' illustrations you posted a while ago.

lots of high gorges there for people who think the high gorge is a modern invention.
i don't think many of these styles will appeal to most on here, but they really go to show what a period of experimentation the teens were.
