The Longest Day, Bridge Over the River Kwai, there's a movie where Audie Murphy plays himself (he was a war hero), So Proudly we Hail...there are so many. Swing Kids is good, too, although it's about, but not from, the Golden Era.

Audrey Hepburn was miscast in Funny Face.
Goldie Hawn played an overweight wretch in Death Becomes Her.
The most startling example is Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
I love the spring here--all three weeks of it. Everything is so green and beautiful.
I don't understand when someone on the TV or radio says, "It's a gorgeous day!" when it's 102 and there's no shade. It's beautiful weather if you're a scorpion.
When I look back on them now, I think, "OMG, these people were weird." They've probably been in a depression clinic or a drunk tank at some time since we last met.
There was, of course, The Glenn Miller Story (I think it was called) starring Jimmy Stewart. Also a movie about Lon Chaney and another called Yankee Doodle Dandy (which is better than it sounds) both starring James Cagney. There was another movie about the life of Vincent Van Gogh, but I don't...

My best friend is in exactly the same situation. However, her boyfriend had suggested that they get a house--with her name, his name and his brother's name on the title, but only her name of the loan! I'm sorry that she is moving away to be with her parents, but I'm glad she's unloading this creep.
I started doing Body for Life a few weeks ago after about six months following my accident and illness. I'm never hungry and I feel great. There are no clubs to join, I work out at home, and I didn't have to turn my life upside down. I work out about three hours per week.
