Okay, well I sent them an email saying I'm withdrawing from my order and gave them my order #.
I'm really not expecting a good response considering I emailed them 5 days ago and didn't hear back.
I've seen that. The right of withdrawal is not a return policy, it's for cancelling your order.
However I didn't even ask for a return, just an exchange.
My A2 from FiveStar also limited my arm movement.
It seems like there was too much material on the lower back and not enough on the upper back. However Shawn was very gracious and offered a 20% discount on a second order when I didn’t even ask.
My brother and I pitched in to buy my dad a jacket for Christmas. We found a store called Noble House in southern Germany with a design we liked.
When the package arrived, it looked like this. Wetness had gotten through and damaged the paper documents and the jacket smelled bad.
My dad normally...
I’m surprised to see no one mentioning car coats (except maybe HoosierDaddy with the Teamster). I may need one when I move back up north.
The Himel Canuck looks really handsome to me.
Not a deal but a beautiful find which I haven’t seen mentioned here. Best damn color I’ve ever seen.
Only one left in XL, for the low low price of $1400 + tax. Italian steerhide made in Los Angeles...
I'm guessing this has already been posted but it's a damn good deal if you're size 38.

I compared all measurements Shawn sent me against the measurements of a jacket that fit well before I confirmed it with him. Shit happens even with experienced buyers.
Thanks for the needless lecture.
My goatskin A2 arrived today. With it being my first made-to-measure garment, I'm not really surprised or disappointed about it being a little small. I love the color and grain, and the olive knitting (more like hunter green) turned out nice. The knitting complicates the measurement a little.

I'm having my A2 Bronco shipped out with the Olive Green knitting.
We had some confusion because, on their website, the A2 has really cool khaki knitting, but in the description it reads "Olive". He said they were out of the khaki knitwear and only offer 4 choices (black, seal brown, russet...
The Lost Worlds' address is listed on their site as 89-15 Jamaica Ave, Queens. I recognized Jamaica Ave as some of my cousins live in that area and it's mostly a residential neighborhood so I was surprised. I pulled it up on Google Maps and found this building.
Am I to take it this building...
Good thread. Can someone point me to a resource showing the very first leather jackets of the 20th century?
In my searching, I can only find vague references to "german flight jackets," but no source or photos.
I was also interested in the earliest workwear leather jackets (non-aviation...
I was impressed with how fast they built my A2 Bronco and construction quality looks good.
But for some reason, they made the waistband/cuffs in dark green instead of the color shown on the site? I thought they would be khaki.
I let Shawn know so I'm hoping it's not shipped out yet.
