My old, black navy servicemens coat got gifted away, so I don't think I officially introduced my Saville Row, Gieves & Hawkes peacoat. It is modern with a high percentage of wool. I love its cut and it fits like a charm. Really pleased winning this on the bay.
Well. That "Monte" logo is the shop where the hat was originally sold. Let's say it's a '90s silverbelly ish hat - but not for sure. If you can buy a new 6x from the Resistol site, somebody might pay anything really. You could get 40 bucks or 250. Modern or thereabouts westerns are pretty...
Agreed. The 'sharper toe' recommendations is why I showed my TLB Mallorca oxfords, and not my Beckett Simonons. Their prices are as good a value as any. Comfy as any round toe as well. Spanish site, but good descriptions on each shoe. These might be my favorite, with the little emblem broguing...
I just offered a low price on a wool sportcoat, and I got it. Herringbone Harris Tweed of a lighter shade of brown. The tailoring is nothing special but the new one I have is pretty good in general. Should see it in about a week. Can't wait to wear it this fall.
I like thin ribbons and cattlemen creases. I just bashed my blue Agnoulita and wished it had a thinner ribbon. I've a Hufvud coming and I suppose it resembles an Open Road, but I would prefer a thinner ribbon on that as well, to be honest.. ....Anyway, I like your current asthetic.
I have this shoe and it has a rather chiseled last. I think I had to convert my USA 13 to whatever unit of measure they were using. No big deal. I've got three pair, and love them. They have a main collection, and these were Artista I think. Great value.
I was just wearing a good hat while attaching some sticky weather stripping. At least your spots are evenly spaced, and close to the space between crown and brim. Still a great find, and a great hat you'll enjoy.
I like that swoop in the brim. I've had hats with no liners, and I usually didn't miss having a liner. Sometimes if they have a cool color I feel somehow fashion elevated.
I am really wowed because I was talking to the hat maker, Hufvud, about a hat order, and we finalized it. I emailed about a change to a cattlemens crease, and I think the maker remade the hat entirely. I felt bad, but I suppose he wants happy customers, and i really, really appreciate that . I'm...
Hufvud has some large hats for sale, or makes custom order. I'm late in the conversation, so not sure if you're sold on a certain hat or price. I'm also happy w my Agnoulita custom.
