But I can say you that I never button the top button. The primary ones, many times in winter. My jacket choose depends on weather, of...
This is my black steerhide Cheyenne, in the third year of use. Heavy, hard to wear and not too much comfortable nor very warm (in spite of the alpaca liner), but it's a wonderful jacket, with a lot of personality. People asked me in the street about this fantastic garment, made to be loved.
Hi again, from Madrid. For what is worth, I post some photos of myself as SCW reenactor (2005-2008). Reenacting of SCW continues here in Spain but, in my opinion, with less success that we hoped in the beginning. To many people, its an "ugly" topic (not for me). Well, now I'm retired as...

For british friends: two weeks ago I played the role of a british volunteer (political commissar) in Spanish Civil War, during the footage of a documentary film about the International Brigades for the History Channel. I hope you will see it soon in GB. Here you can see an image of film. I'm...
The trousers are part of one of my Spanish Civil War uniforms. They were made by Charles Nohai, a US taylor of California. You can see their patterns in http://www.lacolumna.org.uk/buying_guide_Uniformes_Militares.htm
Regards
The boots are "What Price Glory" british officer polished brown ammo boots repro. Leather soles, no nailed but they have metal reinforcement on heels. In my opinion, they are perfect for a 30's and 40's civvie impression.
Regards.
Thanks a lot everybody for your kind posts.

Really, I haven't any A-2, but I can tell you that this jacket fits tight, also in armholes, but is very comfortable. Amanda (Aero) can inform you about all details.
Hello
This my new Aero 1930's Halfbelt. My choose is two horizontal pockets, remembering the french "blouson cycliste", later used by the Luftwaffe pilots. Vintage brown FQH, 42 size. Believe me, it's the most wonderful jacket I have.
The Red Army photographer goggles are easy to find (and cheap) in www.frontofrussia.com.
The french officer goggles are harder to find: they are british, early days of WWII. Really, the frenchmen soldiers of Division Leclerc used US goggles, but some officer, as the own Leclerc, used this...
I would like to speak and to write english much more better than now to express my opinions and discuss, with real data, the truth about the Spanish Civil War. But only I can say some things: in 1936 my father was a young falangist that participated in the military uprising of the Cuartel de la...
